Fees and Payment

Melbourne Pain Group is a private practice and consultations do incur fees.

Private Patients

Full payment is required on the day of your appointment using any of the methods listed below. If you are a Pension or Centrelink Health Care Card holder your consultation will be billed at a reduced rate. Once payment is received we can submit your claim to Medicare on your behalf. You will receive your rebate in your Medicare nominated bank account within 48 hours. Please note: A valid referral is required prior to booking your appointment to ensure you will receive your Medicare rebate.

Workcover and TAC Patients

Invoices for Workcover and TAC patients will be sent directly to your Insurer. We require a valid approval from your Insurer prior to booking your appointment.

Private Health Insurance

In the event you require an admission into hospital for a procedure or inpatient stay with one of our Pain Specialists, we can supply you with the applicable item numbers to check your eligibility to claim with your insurance provider.

  • Cheque, Bank Cheque and Money Order
  • EFTPOS
  • Credit Card – VISA and MasterCard only
